She is getting SOO big!

Well, here are some more pictures of Little Sarah. She had her 2 month check up on April 3rd. She weighed in at 11 lbs 15 oz, she is 23 inches and growing like a weed. She also had her first string of shots. She wasn't too happy about that. She had a fever for about a day and a half after words, but is doing better now. She is definitely my little chunky monkey..

I love it when she sleeps - Sweet little angel.
This is 1 of 2 pictures I have of her smiling...

This is our friend Rachael's little stuffed monkey that was made by a friend. It's crocheted and the girl that made it also made an elephant, dog, cat, bear, hippo... they are all so stinking cute!!!

She was holding on to it for dear life! It was SOOO cute!

The other picture of her smiling. YES, this is a little boy onesie but it SOO fit her attitude that day. It says "Hello my name is Cranky Pants". It was the day after her shots... trust me, it fit.

Our duty station is....

OK, so I am completely brain dead. I forgot to mention in my post yesterday about our duty station. We are so excited to be moving to Ft. Carson, Colorado. Our report date is Sept. 10th but I am going to try my hardest to move out there in May with our friends that are also moving out there. I am hoping that the military will let me since his is going off to school and I just want to get out of here and get settled into the new area as soon as possible. I just don't know if they are going to let me. PLUS it's only about 9 hrs away from home. I will be coming home a lot IF I can find some place to stay with my dogs. It's going to be hard on our budget to board them. Other than that, we will be in Ft. Carson in Sept for sure! I'm so excited to see mountains and to be closer to home so I can just drive or even leave on a whim!
Love you all!

More pictures of Little Miss Sarah

Well, here are the pictures finally. Sorry it took so long. Between Matt's surgery and me having a severely infected ingrown toe nail, it's just been kinda hard to sit here and wait for the uploads. Well, Matt's surgery went great. He had a follow up today and the doctor says that it's looking but too early to see everything. He thinks it went well other wise. Sarah is growing like a weed. According to the Wii Fit (courteous of our friends Brandon and Rachael), she weighs 11.5 lbs. Her next appointment is April 3rd. Other than that, we are doing great. Hope you all enjoy the pictures.
This is the Famous Crusty Look she just loves to give everyone and everything. Isn't she just cute!!!

I love how she is holding on to her soothie.

I love her in blue! Yes they are boy clothes too! But they are SOOO cute!!!

She is arching really hard to try and see her daddy.

I love the look here and Taz is just being Mr. Nosey.

Sleeping baby girl.

Snuggling with daddy.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this outfit. Thanks Aunt Xarissa. Sadly she only got to wear it once before she grew out of it.

Another cute outfit I liked her in and can't wear anymore.... gotta love the newborn outfits.

She was startled by something and this is the look I was able to capture.

Sleeping on Daddy's Chest.

Timers

So, as you can see, I added some timers to the blog. Matt wanted me to add them so that he has something to look at to tell him how much longer he has to be in the unit he is in and how much longer we have until we leave this base. The date is only a guess as of right now for when we leave Ft. Leonard Wood but when I find out the exact day, trust me, I will update it. We can't wait to leave here!

More Pictures

Here are just a few more pictures I thought you would all enjoy. Some of them might show up on the birth annoucement but I have yet to decide which ones or even the layout of the annoucement yet.
I can't remember if she just sneezed or if she just yawned but it's still cute.

Just thought it was cute how she layed her hand like that.

The jacket has a cute frog on it & this is the rest of the outfit.

Close up & one of my favs.

Just hanging out & actually not screaming while getting a "spit bath" & bum change.

Sarah Mackenzi Jardine!!

Ok, so I know it's been 11 days but it's been crazy and busy. Here are the long awaited pictures.

Introducing Sarah Mackenzi Jardine.
She was born on Feb. 1, 2009

Little Sarah came out SCREAMING!!!
If you look closely, this is her exact weight. 7 lbs 7.7 oz but on the birth certificate it's 7 lbs 8 oz. She was 20 inches long.

Day #2. The nurse gave her her bath and put this cute little bow in her hair.

At home chilling with daddy watching some tv.

Laying on Nanna's chest with her arms all tucked up. Matt couldn't resist getting the picture.
So to make the story quick but known. We were at our friends house waiting to watch the Super Bowl and all of a sudden my water broke. It was 4 pm. We got to the hospital about 5 (cause our friend lives out in the middle of no where) and I was admitted by 5:30. I got my epidural somewhere in the 8 o'clock hour and at 11:42 pm she made her appearance. Like I said earlier, she came out screaming. She spent most of the night in the warmer only cause she was still trying to figure out how to breath. She did have jaundice pretty good and they helped supplement her for one night with formula to kick start her liver. She is completely healthy now and has her 2 week check up on the 18th. Other than that, we are just slowly adjusting. Nights are hard for me only cause I'm breastfeeding but Matt is nice enough to wake up with me for a minute or 2 and even change a diaper or 2 while I go to the bathroom. We are so grateful to have her with us.
We love you all! I'll try to post more pictures when we have them.

**Sighs**

Well. Still no Sarah but things seem to slowly progress. They were able to get me into the Doctor on Thursday. I am now 3 cm dilated and everything else is still the same. I was having a lot of contractions yesterday but nothing that would let me to go to the hospital (if that makes sense). Today has been a little bit calmer. The doctor told me to come back in on Monday first thing in the morning so she can check me again and we even talked about possible inducing me on the night of the 8th or the morning of the 9th if I haven't had her yet. I'm hoping I don't have to wait that long though.

Well there is a quick update. Matt's buddies keep telling him that he's going to get a Super Bowl baby. I won't protest. I just want her to get here and be healthy!

We love you! Talk with you all soon!
