It was pointed out to me that it's been almost 2 months since I posted anything. I honestly didn't realize it had been that long so I appologize. As you all know, I got to come home for a week last month and I enjoyed it. I did expend my stay but was sick for the days I extened so I didn't get to see anyone. While I was home, I ended up cutting about 6 inches off my hair and dying it. I liked it at first but I honestly don't like it much anymore. I can't wait until it grows back out and the color really starts to fade.

As far as the baby goes, I will be 16 weeks on Saturday and I have a follow up appointment on the 22nd of this month. I hope to be able to find out what we are having sometime next month. I personally think we are having a boy but Matt is convinced it's a girl. I honestly don't know though. I keep going back and forth. Everyone tells me that it's going to be a girl cause now that I've started showing and I'm carrying kind of high. I don't know though. I don't believe many of the "old wives tales". My morning sickness and nausea is slowly starting to get better but I still have my ups and downs. I can't wait until I've over come it though but today seems to be one of those days I can't beat.

Just a Hello

Well, there have been some changes since Matt has left. On May 26th, I took a home pregnancy test and it came back positive. We were on the phone when I was able to tell him if he was going to be a daddy or not. The next day I went to the Hospital and had a blood test to confirm it, and yes, I am offically pregnant. I have been experience HORRIBLE morning sickness and I've been extremely dizzy. But so far, I've only thrown up once. Thank goodness. I had my "orentation" on June 10th, to get me into their Maternity system and I was talking with the OB/GYN Nurse and she said everything that I'm experiencing is normal. Some women just have a hard time with dealing and I guess I'm one of them. My first official doctor's appointment is July 7th. I will actually meet my Doctor face to face and be told exactly how far along I am. The Nurse estimated me to be about 6 weeks. Well acutally, if I follow that, today, I am now 7 weeks. Matt and I are very excited but I am also a little scared. I have NO idea what to expect and/or if anything I am experience is normal. I've been calling family already asking what they experienced and if it's normal. I have been reading two different books and they are pretty educational but still doesn't answer all my questions all the time. Matt and I will find out what the sex is when that time comes but as of this moment, he is convinced it's a girl. I honestly don't know and I really don't care as long as I am healthy and the baby is healthy. I have an appointment with a nutritionist on the 24th of this month to help me with my nutritional needs and pretty much educate me cause I have NO idea. I've never really known better when it comes to food and what is healthy or not. Obviously somethings are obvious but others, not so much to me.
I have quit my job and that is just a long story in its self and really don't want to get into it at the moment. So, my goal now that I am a housewife is to do some deep cleaning, stay healthy and to train my two monsters of dogs. LOL. No they have been really good actually. They don't jump on me anymore and they know that there is something different and don't crawl all over me like they use to. They are still annoying in their own little ways but they are my dogs, what can you expect. =)
We are very excited but worried at the same time. This was a planned pregnancy but it still kinda took me by surprise. I don't know why but I honestly don't think it has completely set in yet. I will be keeping everyone up to date the best I can and I hope everyone is doing well. I sure miss everyone and unfortunately, I will not be able to come home this summer or for Christmas so that we can save some money and get some other bills paid off. We love you all very much and can't wait to hear from you all!

Hello from R&R

Hello everyone, I am offically on R&R. I arrived in the states Apr 30, 08. Kayci and I have had fun relaxing. Kayci and I went to Branson, at a Bed and Breakfast, named Hummingbird Inn. The stay was amazing and went and saw several museums and attractions. This past week, i have been lazy and relaxing. I well be leaving for Iraq for the second time on May 19, 08. I will have only 7 months to go and counting down. I sould be home in Utah sometime around Mid January.

I miss you guys and am always thinking of you. I miss my nephews and nieces, and want pictures, any pictures, even cd's with pictures. I do feel that i am missing alot in the family and miss you all. Sorry if i dont call as much and am very busy and i try to call when i can. I love you all and i will try to keep in touch.
